FastCure™ was developed to significantly reduce the need for toxic primers commonly used in the automotive industry. Plastic components pre-coated with our Ori-Polar™ adhesion promoter can be stored for up to 12 months and bonded without any additional primer. On the glass side, no primer is required, as the formulation is specifically designed to work without these chemicals.

This ensures fast, reliable handling right after line exit, while still meeting the long-term strength required in real-world conditions. Can FastCure™ formula be adapted to meet customer needs?
Yes, the FastCure formula can be customized to meet the specific needs of our customers. We can adjust both the curing time and gel time to optimize the adhesive for each unique application. This flexibility ensures that the adhesive performs perfectly within the customer’s bonding process, allowing them to streamline production and achieve the best possible results. Additionally, our engineering team can provide support in the adhesive dispensing process, equipment setup, and other aspects of application to ensure seamless integration and efficiency.
Does this solution need primer on the plastic part?
Thanks to our advanced Ori-Polar™ adhesion promoter technology (OPL21 / OPM11), parts can be pre-coated up to 12 months in advance, eliminating the need for additional priming when bonding with FastCure™. If Ori-Polar™ is not used, a primer will still be required. In addition, Ori-Polar™ is non-toxic, unlike most primers which can be highly toxic.
Does windshield glass need primer or preheating?
FastCure™ forms a strong bond with glass without the need for a primer, setting it apart from thermal fast-curing adhesives. Additionally, it doesn’t necessitate preheating the windshield. This streamlined approach simplifies the bonding process, resulting in considerable time and energy savings
When are the windshields ready to be handled?
The bond is strong enough for handling just a few seconds after the parts are bonded, allowing for immediate handling and transportation. Final properties are achieved in the following hours.
